July 3rd
With
a brand new week at the helm we returned to our regularly scheduled programming
of Spanish, science and history. The afternoon plans however, were a bit
different. With good weather we spent the entire afternoon at the beach, with
the sole purpose of enjoying ourselves. We played in the water, buried
ourselves in the sand and even got to ride a “sea horse”. By dinner, we were
each at our respective houses getting ready for a nice barbecue at the girl’s
house. The evening was spent partying, singing, eating and, later in the night,
dancing. We learned bomba, a typical Puerto Rican dance which left us just
tired enough to get to sleep.
