Hoy nos hemos ido de excursión a la capital de Puerto Rico, San Juan. Al llegar, hemos tenido que coger un ferry para cruzar la bahía. Primero hemos pateado la parte vieja de la ciudad y después hemos explorado un castillo del siglo XVI llamado el castillo San Felipe del Morro con vistas al océano. Después de eso, hemos tenido un poco de tiempo libre para pasear por la ciudad antes de sentarnos a cenar en un restaurante local. Nada mas volver a la escuela, hemos tomado nuestra primera clase de salsa todos juntos con nuestro profesor Edwin, un autentico bailarín!
Today we went on our first excursion into the city of San Juan. In order to get there we had to take a ferry across the bay. First we visited the old town before proceeding to explore a 16th Century citadel called Castillo San Felipe del Morro that overlooked the ocean. Afterwards we had time to wander through the town's shops, before sitting down to eat dinner in a lovely local restaurant. Upon our return to campus we took part in our first dance class learning the salsa under the watchful eyes of our instructor, Edwin.
